Currently, I'm a full-time student in an accelerated program. Next fall I'll be getting my bachelor's in human services. After that, I'll be looking into starting my masters degree in marriage and family therapy. I currently have a certification as a relationship coach based on attachment style theory. I am looking forward to opening my own practice one day.
Until then, I'm exploring entrepreneurial work outside of my current work as a part-time social media marketer for my congregation.
I started taking brazilian zouk dance classes in July and enjoy it a lot. It's one hobby I won't give up. It helps me not get so consumed with homework and the stresses I have from it. It's vital to move our body.
My faith is important to me. I'm Torah-Observant and still trying to figure it out. Grace. Do you have to be TO? Not necessarily. There are boundaries I won't cross and I'd expect the same, such as not pressuring either of us to join holidays we don't want to(Christmas, easter). Inviting each other to a gathering is one thing, but crossing boundaries by continuing to ask or explain in order to convince each other to change our mind isn't okay. Mutual respect and honor.
Even though I still plan on working after marriage, I want it to be an option that I don't have to. Some of my income can contribute going towards date nights and vacations. However, i prefer a generous man who'll still prefer himself paying.
I'm willing to move from my state. I'll be looking for dance classes so please by near or in a city. (It really is important to me.)
I love cats. I had to put my previous pet to rest and want to get another one at some point. Dogs are only okay if they're really trained well. I don't like slobber, jumping, and constant barking. Training a dog to listen for your command to attack or hold back is important. I prefer medium-large dogs.
I love traveling and would love to create memories of our travels together.
